Young chef Roberto Tonolo, at the helm of La Lanterna Verde’s kitchen, proposes traditional dishes reworked with style. His expert technical skills and innate curiosity are expressed in a menu that highlights the use of seasonally-available ingredients, as well as those sourced locally – freshwater fish, selected meats and game, mushrooms, wild herbs and traditional flours produced in the area, all of which enrich a meal that inevitably ends with deliciously seductive desserts. The wine list, with over 500 labels, is one of the restaurant’s attractions, thanks to Antonio, a passionate sommelier who for years has been committed to selecting top quality wines and spirits. The custom-built, air-conditioned cellar, can be visited upon request.
In the summer months, clients enjoy dining outdoors under the restaurant’s lovely vine-covered pergola;in the winter, in the warm and inviting dining room, with beautiful wood-beamed ceiling, log-burning fireplace and frescoed walls.
